Margaret Walls is a Senior Fellow at Resources for the Future, a role held since October 2000, where rigorous economic research and analysis are conducted to inform policy on natural resources and the environment. Prior to this position, Margaret served as an Associate Professor at the School of Economics & Finance at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, from February 1996 to September 2000. Margaret Walls earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from UC Santa Barbara between 1982 and 1987 and holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky, obtained from 1977 to 1981.
