Magdalena Kvarnemar Gjefle has a long history of work experience. Magdalena began their career in 1990 as a Corporate Finance Associate at The Chase Manhattan Bank. Magdalena then moved to DNB Markets in 1994 as a Senior Financial Analyst. In 1997, they became a Senior Financial Analyst and Partner at Elcon Securities/First Securities ASA. In 2000, they moved to Pareto Securities in the same role. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as an Independent Advisor at K Consulting, where they held several board positions within Finance, Property Development and Industrial Technology. In 2005, they became Vice President at Coor Service Management. In 2008, they took on a Member of the Board role at Ignis ASA, where they were also a member of the Audit Committee. In 2010, they became Director Business Development at Weifa AS. In 2018, they moved to Inven2 as a Business Development and Licensing Executive. Finally, in 2022, they took on the role of Director of Business Development at RESPINOR AS.

Magdalena Kvarnemar Gjefle holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Magdalena obtained this degree between 1989 and 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.)/Siviløkonom in Business Administration from The Gothenburg School of Economics between 1986 and 1989.
