Henning Haugerudbraten

Henning Haugerudbraten is the current Principal of Financial Inclusion Private Equity & Country Manager Thailand at responsAbility. Henning has over fifteen years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on microfinance and impact investing.

Henning began their career as an Advisor for strategic asset allocation at Norges Bank, the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund. Henning then transitioned to McKinsey & Company as an Associate from 2006 to 2009. It was during their time at McKinsey that Henning became interested in microfinance and impact investing, which led him to their next role as Investment Director at Nordic Microfinance Initiative (NMI) from 2009 to 2012.

In 2013, Henning joined Triple Jump BV as their Regional Manager. Triple Jump is an impact investment fund manager based in Amsterdam that specializes in microfinance investments. During their time at Triple Jump, Henning managed investments with around 160 microfinance institutions and other investees, with about USD 1 billion under management.

In 2014, Henning left Triple Jump to join responsAbility Investments AG as their Investment Director. responsAbility is a Swiss impact investment manager with a focus on microfinance, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and health. Currently, Henning is responsible for Private Equity investments in Financial Inclusion and Country Manager for Thailand at responsAbility.

Henning Haugerudbraten has a Master of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Candidatus Magisterii from University of Oslo (UiO). Henning is also certified by the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
