Roger Sanson

Roger Sanson has extensive experience in sales, business development, and management roles. Roger is currently the Director of Global Sales at Response Biomedical Corp., where they lead the company's sales efforts globally and manages a multicultural team. Prior to this, Roger held the position of International Business Development & Sales Manager - Americas at Response Biomedical Corp., where they focused on the North and Latin American markets, particularly in the Acute Care & Cardiovascular portfolio.

Before joining Response Biomedical Corp., Roger worked as the General Manager at Goal Travel Corporation, where they oversaw overall operations, sales, and financial analysis. Roger was responsible for business development and market expansion, and implemented the Customer Experience department based on a customer-centric culture.

Earlier in their career, Roger worked at Philips Medical Systems as a Product Specialist and Sales Support, and as a Field Service and Support Engineer. Roger also worked at HP as a Field Service Engineer for medical devices, where they were responsible for installation and service support for key customers and technical training for distributors.

Roger Sanson has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from FEI, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Roger also has a Postgraduate Degree in Service Marketing & Business Management from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, which they obtained from 2002 to 2003. Currently, Roger is pursuing a PMBA at UBC Sauder School of Business, starting in 2022 and expected to finish in 2025. In addition to their formal education, they have also completed a certification in Negotiation and Influence from MIT Sloan Executive Education in 2017.
