Jens Pörkenäs has a diverse range of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Jens is currently the Director of Restaurant Operations at RestaurangAssistans since April 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Department Chair at Byxelkroks Golfklubb starting in April 2020. In 2006, Jens founded and served as the CEO of Pörkenäs Restaurangkonsult. Jens also held the position of Chairman of the Board at BRF Bergsparken from April 2010 to September 2022. Jens has held various managerial positions in the industry, including Restaurant General Manager at Engsholms Slott AB in October to November 2020, Restaurant General Manager at Nalen Evenemang & Konferens AB from November 2016 to August 2020, and Food & Beverage Manager at Blue Hotel Elfviks udde from April 2006 to September 2012. Additionally, Jens has experience as an Enhetschef at Fazer Amica from August 2015 to February 2016 and as a Multi Unit Manager and Unit Manager at Scandinavian Service Partner from February 2013 to August 2015. Jens also served as the CEO and proprietor at Restaurang Sunshine from January 2007 to December 2008.
Jens Pörkenäs attended Södertörn University from 1999 to 2003. Jens obtained a degree in civilekonom and specialized in företagsekonomi, which translates to business economics.
