Yande Kalengo

Yande Kalengo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in advocating for women's rights and empowering youth in Zambia. Currently serving as Power Shifting Director and International Safeguarding Manager at Restless Development since March 2022, Yande also holds positions as a Board Member for StrongMinds and as a Trustee for Play it Forward, which focuses on creating sustainable livelihoods for young Zambians through education and health initiatives. Previously, Yande worked as Project Officer for Women's Rights at ActionAid Zambia, and held internships at UNESCO and the United Nations, contributing to various humanitarian and governance projects. Yande holds a Master’s Degree in International Law from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor of Laws from Oxford Brookes University, along with a Practising Certificate in Law from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Learning.
