Kristie Burgess-Henson

Kristie Burgess-Henson has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and positions. Kristie began their career as a Certified Medical Assistant at Kamala Vanaharam MD in 1991 and worked there until 1995. Kristie then joined Premier Medical as a Medical Coder from 1995 to 2000. Following that, they served as the Patient Accounting/Pre-Registration and Verifications Supervisor at Ascension Crittenton Hospital from 2000 to 2007. Kristie then worked at William Beaumont Health System as an Assistant Director of Patient Financial Services, Professional from 2007 to 2009. After that, they joined HMS as a Payment Integrity Audit Coordinator, where they managed government Payment Integrity contracts and audit initiatives until 2012. In 2013, they held the role of Interim Practice Administrator/Program Director at Hosey DPM LLC for a brief period of time before transitioning to RestorixHealth as the Regional Director of Revenue Cycle, where they are currently employed. Recently, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as an Interim Program Director at Northern Sentara Wound Care & Hyperbarics.
