Jonathon Steinbeck

Jonathon Steinbeck has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Jonathon founded China Plains Consulting in 2009, specializing in sourcing products from China for US companies and marketing US products in China. Jonathon also established Troika Recycling in 2012, focusing on recycling partnerships between Chinese factories and businesses producing waste materials. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Sales Representative at Ayrshire Electronics, where they communicated the company's capabilities and closed sales leads. Jonathon also held positions at Werner Enterprises, first as an International Pricing Specialist and later as an International Agent Business Development Representative. Jonathon created a new revenue stream by negotiating with overseas logistics partners. Jonathon was also employed by ConAgra Foods as a Product Supply Account Supervisor, overseeing multiple markets internationally. Prior to these roles, they gained experience in sales as a Sales Representative at Vector Marketing. Jonathon started their career as an English Professor at Nanjing Normal University and Beijing Forestry University, where they developed curriculums and taught conversational English classes.

Jonathon Steinbeck attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA). Prior to that, from 1997 to 2004, they studied at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science, with a focus on Chinese Language & Studies. Additionally, in 2001 and 2002, Jonathon also attended the Beijing Language and Culture University, where they received a Certificate of Completion in Mandarin Language.
