David L. Ashford Jr., CCIM has over 20 years of work experience in the real estate industry. David L. is currently the Senior Vice President of Brokerage and Leasing at Retail Specialists. Prior to this, they worked at The Shopping Center Group as a Broker, specializing in leasing shopping centers and retail spaces, as well as out parcel and investment sales. David L. also worked at Southpace Properties, Inc. for over 16 years, where they held the position of Director of Retail and ran retail group meetings. Additionally, they worked as a Marketing & Research Assistant at Southpace Properties, Inc., responsible for creating marketing materials and researching property data. David's first job was as a Runner at Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton, where they learned the importance of hard work and serving others.

David L. Ashford Jr., CCIM, received their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Auburn University in 2001. In April 2004, they obtained the CCIM Certified Commercial Investment Member certification from the CCIM Institute.
