Amy Nelson

Amy Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Amy is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Rethink Capital Partners, a position they have held since April 2021. In addition, Amy is a Board Member at Vivvi since May 2022.

Amy previously worked at Venture for America, starting in September 2013. Amy held several positions within the organization, including CEO from September 2017 to January 2021, Managing Director from March 2016 to August 2017, and VP of External Relations from September 2013 to February 2016.

Prior to Venture for America, Amy worked at B Lab, where they held the role of Global Impact Investing Rating System (GIIRS) from June 2012 to August 2013.

Amy also has experience in the non-profit sector, having worked as the Director of Development & US Operations at Cambodian Children's Fund from March 2009 to August 2011. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Benevolent Vision from May 2007 to March 2009, and as an Education Program Officer at Relief International from June 2006 to April 2007.
