Ingrid Marcum has a long and varied work experience. Ingrid began their career in 2000 as an Athlete for USA Weightlifting. In 2001, they took on the role of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for USA Field Hockey. In 2003, they became a Fitness and Programming Manager and Personal Trainer for Health Quest Fitness. In 2007, they started their own business, Advanced Muscle Design. In 2009, they became the Director of Programming for Battling Ropes. In 2011, they started two businesses, BGB Fitness and Valkyrie Enterprises, LLC. In 2017, they joined Rethink Compliance as a Lead Course Developer, Senior Course Developer, and Senior Writer and Editor. Ingrid also began writing for Girls Gone Strong that same year, authoring a textbook chapter, serving as a contributing editor, and creating a program for their Level 1 Certification.
Ingrid Marcum received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from William & Mary in 1997. Ingrid then attended Elmhurst University from 1997 to 1999, studying Kinesiology.
