Joe Garcia

Joe Garcia has a diverse work experience that spans across various companies and roles. Currently, they hold the position of Principal at Rethink Impact, LP, where they have been working since the start of 2023. Prior to this, Joe worked as a Senior Associate and Venture Fellow at the same company. Joe also gained experience in the sustainability sector as a Sustainability Consultant at Impossible Foods from 2019 to 2020. Joe served as the Managing Director at the University of Michigan Ross Social Venture Fund from 2018 to 2020. In addition, they have held roles such as Summer Associate at Lewis & Clark AgriFood, Enterprise Account Executive at Instapage, Enterprise Account Executive and Account Executive at Sensor Tower, and Account Executive at Visage. Earlier in their career, Joe served as Team Lead, Inside Sales at Pentaho from Hitachi Vantara in 2013-2014.

Joe Garcia completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the same university from 2018 to 2020. Joe also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Southern California.
