Derek Kunimoto

Derek Kunimoto has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving as Managing Partner at Retinal Consultants of Arizona & Retinal Research Institute since 2006, and holding key leadership positions at Aviceda Therapeutics as Chief Strategy Officer, Co-Founder, and Chief Operating Officer since 2018. In 2023, Derek assumed the role of General Manager at Aviceda Glycotech Ltd. Prior to these roles, Derek worked as a Healthcare Consultant at McKinsey & Company from 1999 to 2001. Educational qualifications include an M.D. from Harvard Medical School, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Oxford's Magdalen College, and an A.B. in Biology from Harvard University.
