Nuno Campelo

Nuno Campelo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nuno started their career as a Software Developer at Accenture in 2010 and worked there until 2011. Following this, they founded their own company, Brainwapps Studios, where they served as the Founder and CTO until 2014.

In 2015, Nuno joined Academia de Código as an Intermediate Software Developer and Bootcamp Teacher. Nuno completed an intensive bootcamp and then became part of the development team, also teaching bootcamp courses. Nuno remained with Academia de Código until 2017.

From 2017 to 2021, Nuno worked at Thales Portugal in multiple roles. Nuno started as a Senior Backend Developer and later took on the additional responsibility of a Scrum Master. In their roles, they played a key role in developing the microservices platform for Thales systems and conducted workshops to guide and promote platform adoption.

In 2021, Nuno joined THALES DEUTSCHLAND GMBH as a Software Architect. In this position, they helped establish the Digital Competence Center for the train Main Line Signalling systems of Thales in Berlin, Germany. Nuno was responsible for developing digital solutions and training the team in technical, engineering, and agile practices.

Most recently, in 2023, Nuno joined retraced as a Senior Software Engineer. The details about the specific responsibilities and duration of this role are not provided.

Nuno Campelo attended Instituto Superior Técnico from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. In June 2019, they obtained the certification of Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance.
