John Rogers

John Rogers is the current Chief Financial Officer at Retrieve. John has also held the title of Financial Executive (Transitional) at Cryptzone and Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operating Officer at HiSoftware Inc. In their role at Retrieve, John is responsible for developing and marketing communication apps that allow firms to deliver knowledge and skills to their employees and customers utilizing two-way real-time video.

Prior to joining Retrieve, John served as a transitional financial executive at Cryptzone following the acquisition of HiSoftware Inc. There, they were responsible for merged operations, corporate relocation, new HR/benefit programs and corporate integration of HiSoftware with its new parent company.

Before their work at Cryptzone, John was the Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operating Officer at HiSoftware Inc., where they directed strategic planning and successfully marketed, negotiated and completed due diligence of the firm, attaining desired shareholder liquidity in a sale to a leading technology-based VC firm. John also completed rebranding & turnaround of the firm from founder led team to new management team with SaaS product offerings resulting in a 10X bookings growth. In this role, John was also responsible for finance, human resources, legal, IT, treasury and shareholder relations on a worldwide scale. John expanded operations internationally and led a private placement equity recapitalization with repayment of founder related legacy shareholder debt.

John Rogers attended Boston College from 1976 to 1980, where they received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Romance Languages. John then attended Columbia University from 1980 to 1982, where they received a Master of International Affairs in Latin American Studies and International Business. Finally, they attended Columbia University's Columbia Business School from 1981 to 1983, where they received a Master of Business Administration in Money and Financial Markets/International Business.
