Erika Golden Brooks has over 18 years of experience in marketing and communications. Erika began their career in 2002 as an Associate at Qorvis Communications, where they planned company-wide and industry-wide events, researched and pitched media outlets, and managed the intern program. In 2004, they joined FischerHealth, a Porter Novelli Company, as an Account Executive, where they worked with professional athletes to educate consumers about the benefits of total knee replacement in targeted markets. In 2008, they began working as a PR Director at blast! PR, where they designed and executed strategic public relations, marketing communication, and social media plans for B2B and B2C digital marketing and consumer clients. Also in 2008, they worked as a Public Relations Contractor at Koroberi, Inc., where they served as the principle strategic and tactical point in the company’s primary consumer campaign. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Corporate Communications Manager at Quintiles, where they developed and executed strategic internal and external communication campaigns for multiple clinical business units. In 2017, they returned to Retrium as VP Marketing, and in 2018 they became Vice President, Marketing & Communications at Thriveworks. In 2019, they moved to ArchiveSocial as Director of Marketing, and in 2020 they returned to Retrium as Vice President Marketing.

Erika Golden Brooks attended Isidore Newman School from 1993 to 1999, where they received their high school degree. Erika then attended The George Washington University from 1999 to 2003, where they received their BA in Communication and Creative Writing.
