Chad Leeper

Chad Leeper has over 20 years of work experience in the field of engineering. In 1991, they began their career as a Voice Communication Interceptor with the United States Army, where they supervised eight personnel and created a training program for junior personnel. In 1997, they joined MadenTech Consulting, Inc. as a Senior Programmer/Analyst and completed an architectural design for a military intelligence collection simulation system. In 2000, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst III with Dell Computer Corporation, creating an intranet website using ASP, VB, C++, and COM+. In 2001, they joined Electronic Warfare Associates Services, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, co-designing and co-developing a method of generating source code for C++, Java, and C# from an XML Schema. In 2007, they began working as a Principal Software Engineer with Overwatch Systems Tactical Operations, where they were responsible for the overall quality of software for approximately one million lines of C# code. In 2012, they became the Manager of Telephony Integration with Mattersight Corporation and architected Mattersight’s next generation, cloud-based telephony integrations. In 2019, they joined RapidDeploy as the Director of Engineering and in 2021 they joined Convo Communications as the Director of Engineering, where they put general agreements in place for the entire department, created the CI/CD process, and re-organized the staffing plan. Finally, in 2022 they joined ReturnLogic as the Director of Engineering.

Chad Leeper attended Texas A&M University-Central Texas from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
