James Phillips has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. James has held leadership positions at Rev.io, Mizuho, i.Predictus, Pragmatic Works, and Magenic. James is currently the CIO at Rev.io and is responsible for Data Platform, CI/CD, ETL/ELT, Azure migrations and AI. Prior to joining Rev.io, James was the VP Corporate Technology at Mizuho from December 2016 to December 2020 where they were responsible for solutions architecting and managing/mentoring the following teams: database performance, DB CI/CD, ETL, and Azure migrations. From June 2015 to July 2016, James served as the VP Technology at i.Predictus where they were the technology lead for all of i.Predictus platform including data platform, front end/backend development (Java/angular). Additionally, they launched new products in Data warehouse and AI space and completed an AWS to Azure migration. From January 2015 to May 2015, James worked as a Sr. Consultant at Pragmatic Works specializing in Business Intelligence solutions on the Microsoft Platform. James has also worked as a Sr. BI Consultant at Pragmatic Works from February 2013 to August 2014 and as Lead Consultant at Magenic from November 2011 to February 2013. In August 2016, James became the Data Practice Lead at Consulting where they are responsible for leading a team of consultants who specialize in data-related projects such as data warehousing, data mining, data analysis, data visualization, and data management.
