Art Beckman

Art Beckman has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Art most recently served as the SVP and CIO at Revel Systems, starting in 2018. Prior to that, Art worked as the Director of Global Managed Services at Itron, Inc. from 2017 to 2018, where they led the reform of North America Managed Services functions and consolidated worldwide managed services into one global organization. From 2014 to 2017, Art was the CTO/CIO at Comverge, responsible for setting the vision and roadmap for hardware and software products, as well as managing the internal IT infrastructure. At HP Software, Art held the position of Director, Program Lead HP Software Innovation from 2007 to 2014, where they facilitated teams in developing new products and established an innovation program. Prior to that, Art served as CIO, CTO, & EVP of Development and Global Client Services at Indus International from 1999 to 2007, overseeing various product offerings and playing a key role in acquiring companies to expand the product portfolio. Art began their career at SBC Services Inc. (Pacific Bell) as an Executive Director, Operations Planning and Technical Support from 1994 to 1998, leading a large organization and managing budgets in excess of $300M. Art started their career at Pacific Gas & Electric, where they worked as a Manager from 1979 to 1994.

Art Beckman attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Later, from 1990 to 1991, Art pursued further education at Harvard Business School, earning a PMD/MBA degree with a focus on Business.
