Matas Balčaitis

Matas Balčaitis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. In 2016, they completed a summer internship at Teltonika. Following this, they joined Teltonika again in 2017 as a Test Engineer and later transitioned to a role as a Linux Developer. In 2018, Matas became an Engineering Consultant at The AKKAdemy before joining Amadeus IT Group as a Software Developer. In 2020, they worked as a Python Lecturer at the Software Development Academy. From 2019 to 2022, Matas held positions at ZealiD, first as a Python Backend Developer and later as an Engineering Manager. Currently, starting from 2022, they are employed at Revel Systems as a DevSecOps Engineer and was subsequently promoted to Cloud Operations Manager starting in April 2023.

Matas Balčaitis completed their Bachelor's degree in Software Systems from Kaunas University of Technology from 2014 to 2018. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Matas has obtained several certifications, including "VPC Networking: Designing a Software Defined Data Center on AWS" from LinkedIn in March 2023, "Learning Go" from LinkedIn in May 2022, and "Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)" from LinkedIn in May 2021.
