Yousef Majzoub

Yousef Majzoub is the current Strategy and Operations Manager at Revel. Yousef has a background in environmental research, having worked as a Research Consultant for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on a renewable energy project in Lebanon.

The CEDRO project at the UNDP in Lebanon explores energy efficient applications throughout Lebanon by investigating opportunities for renewable energy sources. The objectives of the initiative are to spur local development and provide a clean source of local energy in Lebanon. As part of the initiative, the CEDRO project is currently implementing a biomass fuel strategy in Lebanon.

Yousef was tasked with drafting a strategy and methodological approach for the environmental valuation of a biomass fuel program in Lebanon with respect to its impacts on forests. The strategy involved designing a non-market valuation study to calculate the total economic value of a biomass harvesting plan in Lebanon. To properly determine the total economic value of the biomass harvesting plan, Yousef took into consideration the non-marketed impacts of the harvesting program (i.e. environmental impacts).

The final deliverable of Yousef's research led to the design of a contingent valuation study to properly value, in monetary terms, the proposed biomass harvesting plan.

Yousef Majzoub studied at Duke University, where they obtained a Master of Public Policy (MPP) in Energy and Environment Policy. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at the American University of Beirut in Finance and General Business. Yousef also holds a Diploma of the International Baccalaureate from the International Baccalaureate organization, and a High School Diploma from the American International School - Riyadh.

They work with Thomas Pagano - Ground Operations Manager, Gregory Evans - Service Manager, and Damien Cepeda - Operations Manager. Their manager is Paul Suhey, Co-Founder & COO.
