Melinda Kessens

Melinda Kessens, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Melinda is currently serving as the VP of Human Resources & Administration at Revenir Energy Inc., a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to this, they were the Head of Human Resources and Administration at Lithos Resources, LLC from March 2020 to October 2020.

From 2011 to 2019, Melinda worked at Resolute Energy Corporation in various HR positions, including Human Resources Director, Human Resources Manager, and Human Resources Generalist. Melinda successfully led a team through a major office closure and merger, managed benefit plans and employee relations, and was responsible for the company's recruiting processes.

Before their time at Resolute Energy, Melinda served as an HR Manager at Maverick Companies, LLC from July 2010 to July 2011, where they completed HR due diligence for the company's sale and opened a new operations yard. Melinda began their HR career at The Village at Squaw Valley as a Front Desk Manager from December 2008 to May 2010.

Melinda also has experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as an Exhibitor Services Specialist at The Freeman Company, a Restaurant Manager/Server at Salt Creek Restaurant, and a Lead/R&R Host at Edelweiss Lodge and Resort.

Melinda started their professional journey as a Game Day Operations Assistant at Indianapolis Indians in 2003 and held a Front Desk Agent position at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV from 2001 to 2002.

Melinda Kessens, PHR, SHRM-CP received their Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Park Administration; Tourism Management from Indiana University Bloomington in the years 1999 to 2003. Melinda also holds additional certifications including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI, obtained in 2014, and the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM.
