Lou Valente

Lou Valente has a diverse work experience in various technical support and engineering roles. Lou currently works as the Director of Global Technical Support at ReversingLabs since September 2018. Before that, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Southern New Hampshire University starting in July 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Arbor Networks (now part of NETSCOUT) where they held multiple positions, including Manager of Technical Support from July 2013 to September 2018, Technical Support Team Lead from August 2012 to July 2013, and Senior Customer Support Engineer from January 2009 to July 2012. Lou also has experience as an IMS Global Support Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise from January 2006 to January 2009, and as a New Product Introduction Engineer and Major Account Support for Core Switching at Lucent Technologies from February 2000 to December 2006. Lou began their career as a Senior System Analyst at Compuware from 1998 to 2000.

Lou Valente earned a Master of Science (MS) in Telecommunications with a focus on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Boston University, attending from 2001 to 2004. Lou also studied Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, although specific years of attendance are not provided. Additionally, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon in June 2022.
