Jake Carter

Jake Carter is an experienced product designer and UX professional with a diverse range of roles and experiences. Jake is currently working as the Manager of Product Design at ReviewTrackers, where they oversee the design process and ensures the creation of user-centered products. Prior to this, Jake held the position of Senior Product Designer at the same company.

Before joining ReviewTrackers, Jake worked as an Instructor in User Experience Design at edX, where they leveraged their expertise to educate and mentor others in the field.

Jake also gained valuable experience at Willis Towers Watson, where they held multiple roles including Lead UX Designer, User Experience Team Lead, and Sr. UX Designer/Product Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for leading and managing UX design projects, conducting user research, and creating intuitive user experiences.

Additionally, Jake worked as a UX Design Instructor at V School, where they guided students in developing their skills in UX design. Jake also contributed their expertise as a UX Designer at DAKCS Software Systems and as a Lead Product Designer at Ampogee, an early-stage startup.

Earlier in their career, Jake held the position of UX Designer/Technical Illustrator at DORSETT TECHNOLOGIES, INC. and served as a Web Designer at Siren Duck Calls LLC.

Jake Carter attended Utah State University from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. Following that, they enrolled at Weber State University in 2014 and completed their studies in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Jake has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2018, they achieved Level 1 Octalysis Gamification Design certification from The Octalysis Group. Furthermore, in 2021, Jake completed CSS Essential Training and HTML Essential Training, both offered by LinkedIn.
