Mike Ryan

Mike Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mike started their career as a Senior Consultant at Avant! Corporation, where they worked closely with the R&D team to meet market demands. Mike then founded a business process optimization consultancy called Tuscany Design Services, where they developed software systems for semiconductor companies. Mike later joined Broadcom through an acquisition, where they played a key role in defining new design processes for systems-on-a-chip development.

In 2007, Mike co-founded Green Vehicles, an electric vehicle business, where they served as President and developed innovative technology for improving electric range prediction. After leaving Green Vehicles, they pursued a Masters with Honors degree at London Business School, focusing on business strategies for growth in global markets.

Mike joined ESPN in 2012 as the Director of Advanced Technology, where they led the innovation strategy and collaborated with the Senior Executive staff. Mike later transitioned to the role of Director of Strategy & Partnerships, Technology, where they developed partnerships aligned with corporate strategy objectives.

In 2015, Mike became the Assistant Vice President of Data Science at TicketNetwork, where they transformed the company into a data-driven ecommerce business using statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning. Mike then joined RetailMeNot, Inc. in 2017 as the Director of Data and Data Science, responsible for all aspects of the company's data and machine learning products.

From 2019 to 2023, Mike served as the SVP of Science & Product at Revionics, where they guided the company in delivering AI and machine learning products for retailers. Mike is currently working at FloSports as the EVP of Product & Engineering, leading the innovation in live digital sports and original content.

Mike Ryan holds a Master's degree in Strategy & Leadership from the London Business School, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Mike has also completed the TensorFlow in Practice specialization by deeplearning.ai on Coursera and the Advanced Data Science with IBM Specialization.
