Philip Tong

Philip Tong has over 18 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Philip began their career in 2001 as a Research Associate I at Theravance, Inc. In 2003, they moved to Chiron as a Research Associate 2. Philip then joined Exelixis in 2005 as a Clinical Research Assistant and Research Associate 1. In 2007, they became a Clinical Research Associate at GlaxoSmithKline. In 2012, they were a Clinical Research Associate II at FibroGen. Philip then joined Portola Pharmaceuticals in 2014 as a Clinical Trial Manager and Senior Clinical Research Associate. In 2016, they became a Clinical Trial Manager at Aduro Biotech, Inc. In 2018, they returned to Portola Pharmaceuticals as a Sr. Clinical Trial Manager. In 2020, they moved to Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as an Associate Director, Clinical Project Lead and Senior Manager, Clinical Project Lead. Currently, they are the Director, Clinical Operations at Revolo Biotherapeutics.

Philip Tong attended the University of California, Davis from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Environmental Toxicology.
