SHAHID ABBAS AWAISY

Shahid Abbas Awaisy has worked in the software quality assurance engineering field since 2010. SHAHID began their career as an Internship at WAPDA Engineering Academy in Power Generation in 2010. In 2012, they moved to GameView Studios as a SQAE, where they tested web compatibility with different browsers and developed test cases for top grossing applications on iOS and Android. In 2013, they moved to Bridgegate Studios as a System Analyst and SQAE, where they analyzed specifications and test plans for the testing process of applications and analyzed analytics of games. SHAHID then worked at CureMD as a SQAE and Automation Engineer. In 2015, they joined Carameltech Studios as a SSQAE. In 2018, they moved to Cloudcade, Inc. as a Senior QA Analyst, where they were responsible for manual, black box, database, API and backend testing, backend APIs automation, bug reporting in JIRA and logged bugs analysis, and monitored release process by interfacing and coordinating with cross-functional teams. In 2019, they joined Revolving Games as a Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they were responsible for manual, black box, database, API and backend testing, bug reporting in JIRA and logged bugs analysis, preparing and updating test plans, test scenarios and test cases, and monitoring QA activities and assisting in the development of quality assurance and testing policies.

Shahid Abbas Awaisy obtained a B.Sc in Electrical from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore between 2007 and 2011. Since then, they have obtained numerous certifications from LinkedIn and TestAutomationU, including End-to-End JavaScript Testing with Cypress.io (2022), Tools and Techniques for Performance and Load Testing (2020), Automated Visual Testing with Apium (2020), Insights on Software Quality Engineering (2020), JMeter: Performance and Load Testing (2020), Learning Python (2020), Programming Foundations: Software Testing/QA (2020), Scripting for Testers (2020), and Test Automation Foundations (2020).
