Jenney Rees has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Jenney most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at RevRoad starting in 2023. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they held the position of Executive Director at the State of Utah, where they led a state agency with over 1,300 employees and managed an annual budget of over $1 billion. Jenney successfully consolidated multiple agencies into a new department and directed financial and budget operations to improve efficiency.

Before their role at the State of Utah, Jenney Rees had a political career at the City of Cedar Hills. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Mayor, overseeing a budget of $9.6 million and making decisions that balanced the perspectives of citizens, businesses, and officials. Prior to being the Mayor, they were a City Council Member from 2012 to 2017.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Mediconnect as the Chief of Staff and Director of Health Information Services from 2006 to 2011. In this role, they served as a liaison between the CEO and department heads, managed relationships with investors, and represented the company at trade shows and investor meetings. From 2000 to 2006, they worked at PerfectPractice.MD as the Director of Training and Medical Billing, where they managed personnel in coding, billing, and collections, developed financial reports, and ensured federal compliance.

Overall, Jenney Rees has experience in leadership, budget management, consolidation of agencies, and political decision-making.

Jenney Rees obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration from Southern Utah University from the years 2018 to 2020. Additionally, in November 2022, they obtained a certification in Transformational Operations & Performance (TOP) in Government & Non-Profits from the University of Utah.
