Israel Heller

Israel Heller has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2012 as a Writing Center Tutor at Wilf Campus Writing Center at Yeshiva University. In 2013, they served as an Honors Teaching Fellow for Honors First Year Writing in a course entitled Diaspora Literature at Yeshiva University. In 2014, they were an Avodah Fellow at Avodah and an Intake Coordinator at the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Association. In 2015, they were a Dorot Fellow at the Dorot Foundation. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Legal Writer at the Law Firm of Stephen Perlitsh and a Content Writer at Revuze. Israel is currently a Judaic Studies Teacher at the Jewish Community Day School of Greater New Orleans.

Israel Heller attended Yeshiva University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters.
