Julia Neumayer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Julia started their career as an Intern at the Universitätsklinikum der Paracelsus Medizinischen Privatuniversität in 2009. Julia then went on to work as an Intern at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in 2010, followed by a part-time role as an Employee at the Scottish Institute for Enterprise (SIE) in 2010.
In 2011, Julia returned to IIASA for two more internships before joining Oxford Economics in 2013 as an Economist. At Oxford Economics, they focused on developing city-specific socio-economic indicators. In 2014, they moved to CEBR as a Senior Economist, where they completed various consultancy projects and authored a published report on the business and economic consequences of inadequate cybersecurity.
Julia then transitioned to Shazam in 2015, starting as a Data Analyst and gradually progressing to the role of Senior Data Analyst. Julia'sresponsibilities at Shazam included analyzing data to identify business opportunities, supporting sales teams, and working with high-value clients and strategic partners.
In 2018, Julia joined REWE International AG as the Head of Business Analysis at Unser Ö Bonus Club GmbH, a subsidiary of the company. In this role, they were responsible for developing new analytics and reporting capabilities for a multi-partner loyalty program. Julia'sduties included designing IT infrastructure, evaluating cloud database solutions, managing a team of analytics experts, and overseeing business reporting procedures.
Julia Neumayer completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from the University of York in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management from the University of Stirling from 2008 to 2012. Julia also attended Rossall School from 2006 to 2008, completing their International Baccalaureate degree.
