Romel Antoine

Romel Antoine is an experienced professional in education policy and development, currently serving as the External Affairs Manager at Fortune School of Education since February 2022. Romel previously held the position of California Launch Fellow at Empower Schools, focusing on strategy development for empowered schools in California. As Co-Founder and Owner of RAW Yoga Center, Romel managed business operations from November 2016 to May 2021. Experience at the California Charter Schools Association included roles as Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs, Manager of Regulatory Affairs, and School Development Manager, where Romel advocated for charter school interests and managed the development process for new schools. Earlier roles included positions at Roadtrip Nation and City Year, where Romel contributed to business development and education partnerships, as well as various leadership and project management roles at Wheaton College and other organizations. Romel holds a BA in Women's Studies, Political Science, and Theatre from Wheaton College, Massachusetts.
