Nguyen Dinh Vu

Polymer Scientist at Ixaka

Nguyen Dinh Vu has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2009, Nguyen worked as an Analytical Technician at Sanofi, where they analyzed the structure of organic molecules and natural products. They also conducted a traineeship at Université Paris-Sud in 2010.

In 2011, Nguyen worked as a trainee at Sanofi's Analytical Sciences department, developing an analytical method for a formulated product. The following year, they completed another traineeship at Université Paris Descartes, synthesizing a molecular probe activated by two-photon irradiation.

In 2013, Nguyen took up a role as a Trainee at ESPCI, studying a rearrangement of cyclopropene catalyzed by Rhodium complexes. Additionally, they began their PhD in the same year at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives, focusing on their research until 2016.

From 2017 to 2019, Nguyen worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at IPCMS Department of Organic Materials, where they were a member of the NANOTRANSMED project. Their responsibilities included designing, synthesizing, and monitoring the progress of nanoobjects for biomedical applications. They also collaborated with various parties for different applications.

Nguyen then moved on to Servier Pharmaceuticals in 2019, assuming the role of Chemical Engineer until 2021. Currently, Nguyen is employed as a Polymer Scientist at Ixaka since April 2021.

Nguyen Dinh Vu holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Organic Chemistry from Université Paris-Saclay, which they earned from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Chimie ParisTech - PSL from 2011 to 2013. Nguyen began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 2007 to 2011.
