Rajat N Agrawal, MD, MS has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Clinical Development, and Ophthalmology Lead at Rezolute, Inc. Rajat N is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Vial.

In the past, Rajat has been the CEO & President of RETINA GLOBAL, a nonprofit organization focused on providing clinical solutions to individuals with retinal diseases in India. Rajat N has also served as an Advisory Board Member at 2020 On-site and Zilia, and as Adjunct Faculty at USC Roski Eye Institute.

Furthermore, Rajat has made contributions as the Founder & Managing Trustee of Retina India, where they have worked on clinical trials and treatments for retinal diseases and addressed social issues faced by visually challenged individuals in India. Additionally, they have had roles as an Independent Consultant, providing expertise to various pharmaceutical and medical device companies on topics such as research and development, clinical development, and FDA strategy.

From 2019 to 2021, Rajat served as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Development in Ophthalmology at Coherus BioSciences. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the field of ophthalmology through their expertise and leadership in clinical development and advisory roles.

Rajat N Agrawal, MD, MS began their education at Holy Cross Convent in Aurangabad from 1976 to 1978. Rajat N then attended St Aloysius in Bhusaval from 1978 to 1981. Following this, they studied at B. J. Medical College from 1983 to 1985, where they received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, equivalent to MD. Subsequently, they enrolled at Nagpur University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained another MBBS degree. Additionally, from 1994 to 1995, they pursued a Retina Fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya Medical Research Foundation. Finally, they attended the University of Southern California from 2007 to 2009 and earned a Master's (MS) degree in Regulatory Sciences.
