Matthias Dean

Matthias Dean is a professional in the esports industry with a current position as the North American Regional Manager for the Rocket League Championship Series at BLAST since January 2024. In addition to this role, Matthias serves as the Director of Event Operations at eFuse and has held the position of Director of Operations at the College Carball Association since May 2020. Previously, Matthias worked as the North American Regional Manager for the Rocket League Championship Series at DreamHack from September 2021 to December 2023 and owned Ascending Champions Esports, overseeing weekly tournaments and staff coordination from May 2017 to September 2021. Matthias's earlier experience includes a Systems & Cyber Security internship at Peraton Labs and a role as a Senior Researcher/Project Head at Taylor University for Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Labs, focusing on malware analysis. Educational qualifications include a degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity from Taylor University, completed in May 2022.
