Paul W Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Paul W started their career in 1990 as a Sales Representative and Customer Service/Shipping Manager at Charbon's Specialty Sports, where they honed their interpersonal skills and gained a deep understanding of customer service. Paul W then worked as a Mental Health Assistant at Charter Winds Hospital from 1991 to 1994, developing effective solutions in a rapidly changing environment.

In 1994, Paul joined WUGA FM as an On Air Announcer, hosting NPR's "All Things Considered" and a weekly music program. Paul W also worked on programing engineering. From 1996 to 1997, they served as an EFL Instructor at BCM Language Institute, teaching English to students of all ages and backgrounds. This experience solidified their passion for creating dynamic learning environments.

Paul W Cooper received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Cultural Anthropology from The University of Georgia in 1995. Paul W then went on to pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree in Social Science from Piedmont College, which they completed in 1999. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a GMDSS Radio Operator/Maintainer License from the Federal Communications Commission in November 2019.
