Position Summary: 

We seek a Business Development Representative (BDR) with curiosity, analytical skills, and a drive to identify qualified prospects. Your responsibilities include outbound prospecting and qualifying inbound leads to boost business growth. You will generate pipeline from sources like Sales Directors’ territories, marketing leads, prospect lists, and personal research. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, motivated self-starter, focused on reaching decision-makers with relevant, personalized messaging. 

Job Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Qualification: 

  • Lead generation via targeted outbound account prospecting and Inbound Leads.

  • Qualify leads and conduct high-level conversations, assessing to ensure they are an organizational fit.

  • Conduct discovery calls to comprehend the organization's pain points and relevant criteria, documenting to ensure a successful handoff to Sales Directors.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Directors to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies

Account-Based Marketing (ABM): 

  • Partner with marketing on a strategic campaign-based approach to demand generation

Customer Engagement: 

  • Articulate the Rhapsody mission, product features, benefits, and value proposition.

  • Provide outstanding customer journey using multi-channel approaches (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesforce).

Relationship Building: 

  • Establish and nurture relationships with prospects, understanding their challenges and goals.

  • Share relevant content, case studies, and success stories to educate prospects.

Performance Monitoring: 

  • Monitor KPIs and metrics via various channels including phone, email, social and pipeline contribution.

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of experience with proven results

  • Ability to build productive relationships over the phone

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to analyze sales reports and interpret data to create and execute action plans

  • Persistence, energy, passion, and enthusiasm for Rhapsody’s mission

  • Superior problem-solving skills

  • Experience with CRM software and web platforms (Salesforce preferred)

  • Ability to work in deadline driven environment
