Frank Stummer

Frank Stummer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Frank is currently a Venture Partner at Smart Infrastructure Ventures since July 2019.

Prior to this, Stummer founded Digital Forensics GmbH in April 2015, offering network traffic analysis services to law enforcement agencies. Frank also developed the business as the CEO and founder.

In 2014, Stummer co-founded Rhebo – Industrial Network Continuity, where they supported the team in business development and finance for their solution, Rhebo Industrial Protector.

Stummer's involvement with Increase Your Skills GmbH began in January 2019 as an Angel Investor and Chairman of the Advisory Board.

Frank joined Enginsight GmbH in December 2020 as a Member of the Advisory Board.

Stummer has also served as an Angel Investor and Advisor to Vizzlo since September 2015, supporting the creation of business charts and diagrams through the web browser.

In 2012, Stummer worked as an Entrepreneur at Palawan Ventures I. UG.

From July 2014 to December 2016, Stummer was a Member of the Supervisory Board at amp biosimilars AG, a biopharmaceutical company.

Frank was the CEO (Vorstand) of Leipzig Ventures AG from May 2014 to December 2016.

Stummer's earliest role was as CFO, Executive VP, and co-founder at ipoque GmbH, where they worked from October 2006 to June 2014. The company provided network traffic analytics and IP classification solutions.

Frank Stummer received their Ph.D. in Economics from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, which they pursued from 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg from 1989 to 1991, where they undertook Special Classes for Mathematics and Physics. In their early education, they attended Polytechnic Secondary School from 1979 to 1989. No specific degree or field of study is mentioned for the latter two educational experiences.
