Shane Moloney

Shane Moloney has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shane started their career as a Sales & Repairs Assistant at Moloney Musical Instruments in 2011, where they managed day-to-day tasks and assisted in secretarial work. Shane then worked as an Assistant Teacher at ISS Enrico Di Nicola from September 2015 to June 2016. In 2017, they joined Berlitz Deutschland GmbH as an English Teacher, helping German companies improve their teams' English language and communication skills.

In 2019, Shane became a Software Engineer at General Motors, where they developed Mainframe Applications using PL/1, COBOL, and SQL code. Shane gained experience in working with APIs for sending HTTP requests between the frontend and backend, as well as with databases.

In 2020, they took on the role of CTO at Gridlock until July 2021. Currently, Shane is working as a Software Developer at Rhebo, starting in October 2021.

Shane Moloney pursued their education at University of Limerick from 2018 to 2019, where they earned a Post Graduate Higher Diploma (Level 8) in Software Development. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015, Shane attended University College Cork, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Music and Italian.
