Richard Novak

Co-founder at Rhinostics

Richard Novak has been in the bioscience industry since 2007, when they began as a Bioengineering Graduate Student and Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley. In 2009, they co-founded Future Scientist as President and Co-founder. In 2013, they took on a role as Consultant for Microfluidic Consulting. From 2014-2020, they worked at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, taking on roles as Lead Staff Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, and Staff Engineer. In 2020, they co-founded Rhinostics Inc. as Co-founder and Director. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded Unravel Biosciences as Co-founder and CEO.

Richard Novak attended Indian Springs School from 1998 to 2003. Richard then earned a BS in Biology from Emory University from 2003 to 2007. Richard completed their education with a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 2007 to 2013.
