Evan Phillips

Evan Phillips serves as the Founding Executive Director of Rhizome Action Network since October 2020 and has been a Trainer for Community Matters, creators of the Safe School Ambassadors Program, since August 2015. Additionally, Evan has held the role of On Air Talent for Rebel Pop Radio at iHeartMedia since February 2015, a show that showcases DJ culture and new music on WiLD 94.9. As Impact Coordinator at eecosphere since July 2017 and Co-Founder/Artist at Interdependent Media since 2006, Evan contributes to both an indie record label and a creative ticket agency. Prior experience includes ownership and operation of Society: Culture House from September 2011 to October 2013, which functioned as a multifaceted community hub encompassing a bar, boutique nightclub, gourmet street food, art gallery, live music venue, and event center.
