Rajesh Hegde

Rajesh Hegde is a Climate Content Writer at Anabe Labs since August 2023 and a Research Fellow at Rho Impact since May 2023, focusing on emission reduction potential assessments for low carbon technologies. As an independent Hass avocado cultivator in Karnataka since June 2021, Rajesh has pioneered avocado farming in the region. Prior experience includes roles as a Carbon Market Associate at Green Story, Lead Researcher at Northern Climate Pathways, and Climate Finance Analyst at Hamerkop Climate Impacts Ltd, with expertise in carbon offset project management, emission reporting, and sustainability research. Rajesh co-founded the Northern Climate Stewardship and Sustainability Society in Edmonton, contributing to local green initiatives and GHG emission reporting. Academic credentials include an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
