John Goodman has held various leadership roles in media and public relations throughout their career. John started as an Aide, Press Secretary, and Director of Communications for the Office of Senator John H. Chafee from 1991 to 1999. John then served as the Director of Public Affairs for the Rhode Island Supreme Court in 2001. Goodman later held the position of Executive Vice President for Government and Public Relations at Trainor Communications from 2000 to 2007. John then transitioned to United Services, Inc. as the Director of Development & Communications from 2007 to 2020. Most recently, they have been working at the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, starting in 2020 as the Director of Media and Public Relations before being promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2021.
John Goodman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island in 1991. Prior to that, they attended East Greenwich High School.
