Leo Liao

Leo Liao is a data scientist who currently works at Rhodium Group. Prior to their current position, Liao worked as a data scientist at asgard.ai from April 2021 to October 2021, where they were responsible for data preprocessing and annotation, building language models that classify job posts into corresponding categories using Spacy and Transformer, and designing data pipelines and computation architectures. From November 2017 to November 2019, Liao worked as an algorithm engineer at Rong360 Jianpu Technology, where they built risk management models for loans and designed data pipelines and computation architectures. From April 2017 to October 2017, Liao worked as a data assistant at Spring Rain Software, where they were responsible for data cleaning and preprocessing, helping to build NLP models using CRF and Word2Vec, and performing search engine optimization.

Leo Liao has a Master of Science in Data Science & Analytics from EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique and a Master of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Leo also has a Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
