Ashley Shields

Ashley Shields is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Digital Twin Analytics Group Lead and Data Scientist at Idaho National Laboratory since July 2020. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Adjunct Instructor at Idaho State University from May 2016 to July 2020, as well as GIS Technician at the Idaho Museum of Natural History. Ashley also held positions as Teaching Assistant and Student Assistant at California State University, Chico, and contributed as a MESA Student Assistant and Biochar Intern at Butte College. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science from Idaho State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from California State University, Chico, complemented by multiple associate degrees from Butte College.
