Maris Veldre

Maris Veldre has a diverse work experience spanning over different roles and organizations. Their most recent role was with Rho, where they served as the Associate Vice President, Project Delivery from September 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Global Head Clinical Operations at Rho from January 2022 to September 2023. Earlier in their career, Maris worked at Dokumeds as the Global Head Clinical Operations and Director Clinical Operations. Maris also held the role of Manager Strategic Sourcing and Category Management at Baxter International Inc. and Senior Clinical Project Manager at Octapharma. Maris has also worked as a Global Clinical Study Manager at Grunenthal GmbH, Head of Clinical Trials Department at JSC Grindeks, Clinical Project Manager at ICON Clinical Research, and Physiotherapist at Aldaris, Part of Carlsberg Group.

Maris Veldre began their education in 1993, when they attended Rīga Stradiņš University. They completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, specializing in Rehabilitation Science, in 1997. Following this, in 1998-1999, Maris attended the University of Eastern Finland, focusing on Public Health.
