Alex Ko has over two decades of experience in the field of animation and rigging, currently serving as a Character Rigging Technical Director at Rhythm and Hues Studios since 2000. This role involves proficiency in Character Rigging and Technical Animation, with contributions to over 17 movies and numerous commercials in various capacities including artist, lead, and supervisor. In addition to practical work, Alex has also taken on an educational role by teaching pipeline workflow, modeling, tracking, rigging, animation, and lighting to new employees. Prior experience includes a position as a professor at Pratt Institute from 1999 to 2000, where Alex taught undergraduate courses in Modeling, Rigging, and Animation. Academic qualifications include coursework towards a Master of Fine Arts in Computer Animation from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Monmouth University.
