Licen Lisa Xu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. As a Venture Partner at Tailwinds Ventures and a Board Member for multiple companies including Burning Rock and Ribbon Biolabs, Licen has demonstrated strong leadership in strategic roles. Previously, Licen served as Chief Commercial Officer at FlashDx Inc. and held significant positions at Roche and Illumina, leading product management and marketing initiatives that drove growth in high-throughput sequencing technologies. Licen's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Universität Zürich and degrees in Biophysics and Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, complemented by executive education at The Wharton School.
