Felipe Gonzalez

Felipe Gonzalez has extensive experience in sales and management roles in the telecommunications industry. Felipe currently serves as the Regional Sales Director at Ribbon Communications since 2018. Prior to that, Felipe worked at Genband as the Regional Sales Vice President from 2013. Before that, they were the Country Manager Puerto Rico & USVI at Avaya from 2012 to 2013. Felipe also held the position of V.P. Sales Caribbean & Central America at Genband from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they served as the Country Manager Spanish Caribbean at Nortel Networks from 2009 to 2010. Felipe has a strong background in sales engineering and business development. Felipe was the Director Optical Sales Engineering Caribbean Region at Nortel from 2003 to 2007, where they achieved a 60% increase in optical market share in the first year. Felipe also worked as a Sr. Manager Multimedia Carrier Switch at Nortel from 1998 to 2000, and as a Sr. Manager Marketing Broadband & Transmission - CALA Region at NEC America from 1995 to 1996.

Felipe Gonzalez attended the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico from 1986 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
