Account Manager For Critical Infrastructure Telecoms at Ribbon Communications

Graham Ribbons has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Graham began their career as a soldier in the British Army, serving for 14 years in various locations around the world. After leaving the army, they worked as an engineer and commissioning engineer at ECI Telecom and NSN, where they managed the deployment and acceptance of access and broadband networks. At NSN, they also held roles as a senior project engineer, OSS solutions manager, and solution sales manager.

In 2012, Ribbons joined CommTel Network Solutions as an account manager, where they played a crucial role in initiating and developing accounts for the company in the European market. Graham also identified a sales opportunity that prevented a client from having to swap out their entire network. After three years, they moved on to Magdalene, where they continued to work as an account manager.

In 2016, Ribbons joined Capita as an account manager for the Energy Retail Market, where they successfully turned around failing accounts and won a five-year managed service deal. However, their tenure at Capita was unexpectedly ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and furlough.

From 2020 to 2021, Ribbons worked at Siemens Mobility, first as a senior design engineer and later as a design delivery manager for operational telecoms and networks. Graham then transitioned to their current role as an account manager at Ribbon Communications, where they are responsible for managing critical infrastructure telecommunications for tier 1 and 2 operators.

Throughout their career, Ribbons has demonstrated strong business development skills, success in account management, and expertise in telecommunications. Graham has also been a regular speaker at industry seminars and round table events.

From 1993 to 1995, Graham Ribbons attended the University of Greenwich, where they completed a B-Tec HNC Telecommunications degree. No specific field of study was mentioned.
