Kanagalu Manoj has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they focused on deep learning networks. Kanagalu then joined Nortel Networks in 1995 and held various roles, including Senior Systems Engineer and Product Manager, gaining expertise in mobile location solutions and wireless applications. In 2010, Manoj joined GENBAND as Vice President of Business Development and later became the Managing Director for India & South Asia. During their time at GENBAND, they contributed to the growth and development of the company. In 2016, they served as a Board Advisor at Vidatt, an AI and Data Sciences Solutions company, where they provided guidance on their video AI-based solutions. Currently, Kanagalu Manoj is the Vice President of Ribbon Communications, responsible for business, including sales and P&L. Kanagalu has successfully led a team that has achieved significant growth in the past five years.

Kanagalu Manoj began their education at Gandhinagar High School. Following their time there, they attended MES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce from 1986 to 1988. Kanagalu then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Bangalore University, which they completed from 1988 to 1992. Manoj continued their education at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering between 1993 and 1995. Finally, they attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 1995 to 1999, earning a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
